Abstract
In a retrospective analysis of 971 patients, the mean age at onset of the is recorded to be 24.1 years. Sex had no, influence on the age-at-onset of leprosy. However, a atatistically significant variation was noted between the type of leprosy and, the at-onset, it was the lowest (19.2 years) in indeterminate and highest (31.08 years) in neuritic leprosy.
