Abstract
One hundred and seventy six lesions of lichen simplex chronicus treated with bethamethasone-17 valerate situated at different sites of the body in 88 patients under occlusive dressing in anaylsed here. The dressing schedule was twice a week for a period of eight weeks. 100 percent success was achieved in 94.6 percent lesions. Six cases with ten lesions developed local complications whereas no systemic complication was observed.
