Abstract
A series of 70 infants and children with eczema was studied with reference to the aetiology and clinical features. Data on age and sex incidence, socioeconomic status, dietary history and occurrence of allergic diseases and scabies in the family are presented. The eczema was scabetic in 36 (51.4%), pediculous in 7 (10%), microbic in 9 (13 %), seborrhoeic in 10(14.3%), atopic in 6 (8.6%) and due to irritants in 2 (2.9 %).Fulltext Views
