In the article, “An exophytic friable plaque on a verrucous epidermal nevus” published in the Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (IJDVL),1 the image of the patient was not properly masked due to an editorial oversight in Figure 1a.

The image has been properly masked and the initial version has been replaced with the corrected version in the original publication.
