Abstract
Two cases of herpes zoster (HZ) with chicken pox (CP) occuring simultaneously, are reported. It has been known since long that the virus of CP and HZ are related. Further investigations have established that the virus of CP and HZ is identical. Therefore this virus has been labelled as varicella zoster virus (VZV). Simultaneous appearance of HZ and CP in the same cases lends clinical proof to the above facts.Fulltext Views
