Abstract
398 patient with leprosy were studied for various eye lesions. Eye lesions were mostly seen in patients whose disease was present for 4 years or more. Cases with more than 40% of body surface involvement were more likely to manifest eye lesions. Duration of treatment did not govern the ocular manifestations. Eye damages were milder in patients who had treatment for more than 12 years. Eye changes were less in patients with non-lepromatous leprosy as compared to those with lepromatous leprosy.Fulltext Views
