Dr. Vimal Kumar Agrawal [Figure - 1], a senior dermatologist practicing at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, passed away on the 31st of March, 2008. He completed his MBBS from M.G.M. Medical College, Indore, and later did his post-graduation in dermatology at the Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai. He qualified for the award of DDV (CPS) and DVD (University of Mumbai) in 1971. After his post-graduate studies he worked for several years abroad, initially in Iraq and later in the United Kingdom.
After coming back to India, he settled down at Indore, where he practiced dermatology for more than 25 years. Besides dermatology, he had a special interest in the field of sexology. He was the first President of the Madhya Pradesh State Branch of IADVL. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Ankur and Pankur, and grandson Suyash.
