Abstract
Fivehundredfortysixschoolchildren(292 boys and 254 girls) age 8-15 years were examined for evidence of striae atrophicae. Incidence and distribution of suiae with relation to diet, physical activity and presence of any other illness were noted. 151 patients attending the Sidn institute out patients for various dermatological conditions were also ed for sum. Relationship to other medication, diet, physical activity, body weight and, pregnancy were noted. The findings are presented and the role of various factors discussed.Fulltext Views
