Abstract
Analysis of the results of patch tests done on 490 cases of contact dermatitis seen over a period of 4 years showed that professional pursuits, hobbies and other similar activities account for the largest number of cases. Other causes of contact dermatitis include cosmetics, wearing apparels, locally applied medicines and air-borne antigens.
