Abstract
A VDRL sero-survey conducted amongst the population in the age group 10 years and above in five selected villages of Sagar District of Madhya Pradesh elicited an over all participation from 1.9 per cent of the population covered. Of the 203 seratested, one (0.5 per cent) was reactive. Of the 46 sera collected from cases in Sagar District Hospital under treatment for complaints other than sexually transmitted diseases (STD) - two (2.2%) were reactive. Problems of STD sero-survey in the community and measures to overcome them have been discussed.Fulltext Views
