Betamethasone 17--benzoate Cream For Common Dermatological Conditions

Abstract

Twenty- four cases with bilaterally symmetrical steroid responsive lesions were included in this placebo controlled trial. Each patient used both placebo and the active drug on two sides of the body for two weeks. 83% of patients showed favourable response to Beben cream. Beben was considered definitely superior in 50% of the patients, whereas no patient showed better response to placebo. The difference in the response to Beben compared to placebo was statistically significant.
