Abstract
A 15 year old boy having epilepsy developed exfoliative dermatitis hepatitis accompanied by fever, lymphadenopathy, facial edema and eosinophilia, three weeks after the regular 'intake of phenytoin. He was treated with systemic corticosteroids which prevented the fatal termination.
